A seed in a tree and A tree in a seed.

Over 4 billion trees are cut every year around the world, just to make paper. I am not sure about current statistics, but just consider this for while. Now guess what, how many trees would require satisfying the human needs on this planet for every year. People are becoming too busy and I don’t understand where they are leading themselves without aware of what’s happening around us. Now if you just stand for a second and think of a simple math, then it would make you realize that we are in danger. There are number of nonprofit organizations who are trying to make people realize of this dangerous situations that’s going to come in our lives, but who cares in this busy world, no one. They are busy with their work, family, kids and most importantly their own problems which don’t let them go away for a second.

This is a serious issue. I can see that there will be a day where everyone around us wears an oxygen cylinder to breathe on this earth. No one thinks of planting a tree in these modern cities which are growing so fast with the skyscrapers but no trees around to make us feel cool or get some air to blow through window. There is an article where I came to know that this amount, I mean trees getting cut every year for just paper is 35% of the harvested trees. Now guess what, how many days it takes to get trees ready for harvesting and how much need is growing for the paper daily and as well as all other things that made up of trees.

Thank god at least in India, we have a culture where we don’t use toilet paper unlike western or else it would have been a much more trouble for India bearing so much of population. Now for just a second, let us think where we going. We have high food inflation because of so many reasons and the one which always stood first is that the decreasing trend of the agricultural land for so many other reasons. Now if the land for growing crops itself is getting scarce then what about the plants which we need to produce regular oxygen .We screwed up enough and now there is no way we can go back to first and start a new game but we can try from here to reduce the risk by saving plants by reducing the usage of paper.

I still remember when I planted two trees in my grandmother’s place when I was in 9th grade. Every time I go there, I used to ask about those planted trees. My grandmother always used to tell everyone around about who planted those trees with a great pride for that moment. I always used to ask how far they grown and they always used to be so happy to tell about those trees, but when I asked this time after almost 10 years and the trees are no more for some reasons. Somewhat felt sad, there is always something which relates you with this nature and the relation is more than anything else which most of them never had a chance to realize or recognize. That message was really portrayed by the AVATAR movie recently.

Now, I have 10 flower plants around my house and bunch of trees around the fence of my 10 Acre Agricultural land and the plants they grow in that land for every year which generates some oxygen and I am so proud of that for that as indirectly or directly I am the owner for this act of generating oxygen. I beg you not to waste anything that screws up the lives of trees even though if you don’t get a chance to plant a tree.

I am not here to advice you upon how we should save our planet by saving trees by following some procedures which could restrict ourselves in wasting paper. You know better than I know. All I am here to stop you guys for a second and make you think of what the hell we are doing to the Mother Nature. We are not safe in our houses without saving our surroundings.

I came across this strange incident in my village..they started cutting off the trees bcoz they were planted in a wrong place according to "Vasthu sastra"...it drove me crazy..Thank god they didn't start adopting these things in fields ..i wonder if they did so they would stop growing crops too..
